Multi Power provides a comprehensive, easy-to-integrate power protection solution for data centres and any critical IT application.
You can scale up power as needed with the “pay as you grow” system, adding extra power modules to achieve 15-60 kW, 25-100 kW, or 42-252 kW power plus redundancy in a single chassis. You can also connect up to four cabinets together to reach 15-240 kW N+1 (MPX 15 kW modules), 25-400 kW N+1 (MPX 25 kW modules), or 42-1008 kW N+1 (MPW 42 kW modules).
Exceptional Performance
Even when running with loads that have a unity power factor (kVA=kW) and at temperatures as high as 40 °C, the Multi Power system delivers its maximum voltage. Even when loaded at only 20%, it operates in ON LINE double-conversion mode with high performance and efficiency of greater than 96.5%. The Power Cabinet MPW 300 PWC, Power Module 42 kW – MPW 42 PM, Battery Unit Array – 4 x BU, Power Module 15 kW – MPX 15 PM, and Power Module 25 kW – MPX 25 PM are used to achieve this improved performance.
Additionally, the system provides a broad input voltage working range (+20/-40%), a near-unity input power factor, and minimal power harmonic noise, all of which result in lower investment costs and a requirement for a low upstream power source rating.
Unmatched Protection
To deliver full-rated unity power, the modular UPS is built with unique parts such as a three-level inverter and IGBT rectifier. Each power module contains three microprocessors, and the parts can operate at temperatures as high as 40 ° c The two processors in the power cabinets control UPS functions and communications, lowering the possibility of any communication problems.
Maximum Output at All Capacity Levels
Even at modest loads of 20–25%, Multi Power provides an outstanding efficiency of up to 96.5% in online double conversion mode and 95%+ overall. Only the necessary power modules are activated thanks to its sophisticated microcontrollers, and inactive modules can stay in Energy Saving Mode for up to fifteen hours. For added protection, all dormant modules will resume in the event of a disruption or breakdown. Furthermore, it qualifies for the Energy Technology List (ETL)- a list of roughly 14,000 energy-efficient goods that the government has approved.
Zero Downtime
Simply plug in the new modules while the UPS carries on running – no need for any downtime or service interruption. The hot-swappable design of the power modules and battery units makes it easy for engineers to access, maintain, and replace them without having to shut down the system.
